The Wichita Foundation (WF) is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to serve as our Design & Content Coordinator. This full-time role supports the Foundation’s communications strategy through compelling visual design and content execution. As the in-house designer and digital content producer, this individual manages social media platforms, creates branded visual assets, and helps tell the story of WF’s work through photography, video, and digital content. The ideal candidate is an implementer who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in producing high-quality, mission-driven work.
This position works closely with the Communications Manager and reports to the Chief Strategy Officer.

WF was founded in 1986 and is composed of 275+ funds and assets of $105 million. Each fund represents a unique philanthropic purpose. In FY25, WF deployed $10.9 million to nonprofit and community organizations.
What You’ll Do
Design & Creative Production
- Create branded graphic assets for digital and print platforms (social media, presentations, signage, reports, email marketing, etc.)
- Capture and edit photography for events, programs, and storytelling
- Produce short videos to support digital campaigns and community engagement
- Ensure all design and content aligns with brand guidelines and visual identity
- Understand latest digital trends to implement
Social Media & Digital Presence
- Manage day-to-day content on WF’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Repurpose approved content and visuals across platforms with appropriate voice and format
- Monitor engagement and interact with followers in a timely, mission-aligned manner
Website & Communications Support
- Update and maintain content on the Foundation’s website as directed
- Support the formatting, design, and distribution of email newsletters
- Organize and maintain WF’s digital asset library, including photos, templates, and design files
Team & Event Support
- Capture and edit event visuals (photo and video) for internal and external use
- Assist the Communications Manager in executing campaigns and meeting project timelines
- Coordinate with external vendors for printing or promotional materials
- Setting up materials at events (banners, outdoor signage, etc.)
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong photography skills, including editing with tools like Lightroom or Photoshop
- Experience with video editing tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro
- Familiarity with managing professional social media platforms
- Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a small team environment

- Experience creating and editing short-form videos (e.g., reels, event clips, interviews)
- Familiarity with website content management systems
- Prior experience in a nonprofit, mission-driven, or collaborative team environment
What We Offer
- $52,000-$58,000
- Possible hybrid work environment. Once training period is completed, employee may be eligible to work remotely up to two days per week.
