Promoting Mental Wellness in the Workplace
March 21 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
The first event in our Personal Development series introduces you to a comprehensive and strategic approach to promoting mental wellness in the workplace. Marketing professionals often operate under high-pressure environments, tight deadlines, and creative demands, making their mental well-being integral to sustained success. A workplace that prioritizes mental health not only cultivates a positive and supportive culture but also unlocks the full potential of its team members.
This empowering workshop is designed to introduce the #WeSupportU Suspenders4Hope program, developed by Wichita State University psychologists. This comprehensive and strategic approach to promoting mental wellness aims to create a supportive culture surrounding mental health and substance use disorders. Join us to learn how to implement a comprehensive prevention program for your workplace teams.
Showcasing real stories of hope, help-seeking and recovery, Suspenders4Hope aims to increase connections and end the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use disorders. The strength of the #WeSupportU program is the combination of an evidence-based training, advocate program, wellness curriculum and the Suspenders4Hope awareness campaign to help create a culture that supports mental health and encourages wellness. Together with #WeSupportU Suspenders4Hope, organizations across all industries, sizes and structures can implement this comprehensive prevention program. Increasing impact and reducing costs allows workplace teams to focus on their core missions while providing staff with important resources to support their mental health.
