Digital Marketing / E-Commerce Coordinator

Whether it’s a small family-run butcher shop or a weekend hunter processing wild game at home, we’re here to help them succeed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage product listings, promotions, and content across our e-commerce platforms
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance the online customer experience
  • Support digital campaigns, SEO, and analytics
  • Engage with our Meatgistics community and help translate technical knowledge into accessible content

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and maintain product information on Walton’s websites.
  • Prepare and execute SEO and SEM strategies to boost our online presence.
  • Develop web pages for new products and ensure they shine.
  • Collaborate with the graphics manager to keep product images fresh and appealing.
  • Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of Walton’s websites.
  • Design and produce engaging content for various web assets.
  • Handle all daily activities related to Walton’s websites.
  • Moderate user/customer submitted content and reviews.
  • Assist in setting up, breaking down, and cleaning equipment for video production.
  • Keep track of keyword rankings and optimize accordingly.
  • Add new features to Walton’s websites using HTML, JavaScript, or backend hosting software.
  • Utilize GA4 to monitor website performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Format product descriptions and organize product categories.
  • Maintain Google/Bing/Maps locations and online presence on third-party platforms and directories.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to write descriptive and attention-catching descriptions for meat processing products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn on the job.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong desire for both company growth and personal growth.
  • No allergies or aversion to meat or common ingredients, as sampling products is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and Markdown (JavaScript and CSS a plus).
  • Understanding of SEO (or willingness to learn).
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
  • Proficient in Windows/Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of current web trends and best practices for web design and technology.
  • Some ability in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Express.
  • Experience with Big Commerce and Google Ads is a plus.
