THE ROLE

As a Designer & Web Developer for weavix, you will be focused on building the weavix brand visually through web, print and digital. In this role, you will collaborate with the Marketing team to develop content, ensure brand consistency, and creatively support our strategic objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with our marketing team to conceptualize, design and deliver materials that drive results: website, digital and print material, graphics and videos
• Perform web admin functions
• Contribute to idea sessions with the marketing team
• Photo editing and enhancement
• Build files based on specifications
• Assist with project/marketing planning and strategy
• Review results of projects
• Assist with scheduling, and make sure projects are delivered on time
• Keep up to date with marketing and design trends

SKILLS REQUIRED

• WordPress – themes, plugins, custom post types, security, performance optimization
• Understanding of good design sense, ability to interpret website design concepts across screen sizes
• Expert knowledge of full Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop & Illustrator
• Experience with marketing strategy and brand message localization
• Ability to grasp basic product and market knowledge

NICE TO HAVE

• Premier Pro to video editing & After Effects to animations
• JavaScript, jQuery
• HTML & CSS
